Situated almost at the heart of the town, the fishing port of Concarneau is classified as a port of national importance. It is managed by the Quimper Cornouaille Chamber of Commerce.
Concarneau:
  • 3rd most important French fishing port
  • 1st European tuna port for tropical tuna, notably from off the Seychelles.

The port of Concarneau is frequented by fishing vessels (auction, provisioning, repair, construction), and vessels under repair such as sand boats, coasters, supply vessels, passenger ships etc.)
To enter the port of Concarneau vessels must not exceed 155m length and 18m width with 116m clearance during the day and 110m with 111m clearance at night.
Oil tankers are limited to 107m day and night with clearance of 108m and 5.70m draught.
